Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Northstar Shield provides specialized cybersecurity consultancy, including but not limited to zero-trust network architecture, server hardening, and compliance alignment. Specific deliverables will be outlined in a mutually executed Statement of Work (SOW).

2. Limitation of Liability

Client acknowledges that cybersecurity is a dynamic environment. Northstar Shield’s assessments, deployments, and audits represent a point-in-time evaluation of security posture based on known threats. We do not constitute or guarantee absolute immunity from all future cyber threats, data breaches, or zero-day vulnerabilities. Northstar Shield shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from unauthorized network access.

3. Intellectual Property

All custom security architectures, scripts, and documentation developed by Northstar Shield during the engagement remain the intellectual property of Northstar Shield until full payment is received, at which point a perpetual license for internal use is granted to the Client.

4. Governing Law

These terms and any subsequent agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws applicable therein.
